This is a vintage hand-painted Matryoshka (Nesting Doll) style porcelain salt, pepper and mustard condiment set from the legendary Gardner Manufactory (Verbilki). Established in 1766, Gardner was the first private porcelain factory in the Russian Empire. This set features the iconic St. George the Victorious maker's mark.
The Matryoshka (Nesting Doll) style has vibrant folk-art floral patterns and traditional headscarves. Each piece is labeled with Russian Cyrillic text.
