This is a small student pottery piece with a rounded form, blue and tan glazed exterior, exposed unglazed base and a striking copper-toned interior. The underside has an informal handwritten signature that appears to read Logan Tierney and “P1,” suggesting a student or hobbyist piece; the meaning of the marking is unconfirmed. It could be displayed as a miniature bud vase or used to hold toothpicks, matches or cotton swabs.
Approx. Size: 3 in diameter x 2 in high; opening just over 1 in diameter.
CONDITION: Very good condition with light scratching inside and slight marks around the underside edge. No major flaws noted.
