An exceptional Herend Hungary tea and coffee service in the celebrated Queen Victoria VBO pattern, featuring Herend's signature hand-painted florals, butterflies, sculptural rose finials, and elegant gold-gilt detailing.
Queen Victoria is one of Herend's most iconic and historic patterns. The original Victoria decoration was introduced at the 1851 Great Exhibition in London and became famously associated with Queen Victoria after she ordered a service for Windsor Castle.
VBO stands for "Victoria avec Bord en Or" — Queen Victoria with Gold Border — a richly gilded variation of this classic Herend pattern.

• Large Scalloped Serving Tray – Shape 420/VBO Approximately 11 3/8" across. Beautifully scalloped form decorated with colorful hand-painted peonies, floral sprays, butterflies, and gold-gilt edging.
• Covered Coffee Pot – Shape 7643/VBO Approximately 8" high to the top of the finial. Elegant tall-form coffee pot featuring a sculptural green branch-style handle, elongated decorated spout, colorful floral and butterfly motifs, and a delicate hand-formed yellow rose finial.
• Covered Sugar Bowl – Shape 1663/VBO Approximately 3 3/4" high. Features a domed lid with a beautiful hand-formed pink rose finial, hand-painted floral and butterfly decoration, and gold-gilt detailing.
• Creamer / Milk Jug – Shape 7612/VBO Approximately 4" high. Features a scalloped pouring rim, green branch-style handle, colorful hand-painted floral and butterfly motifs, and gold-gilt edging.
MARKS:
Pieces bear the blue HEREND / HUNGARY / HANDPAINTED factory mark along with hand-painted form and VBO pattern numbers. Please see photographs of the underside markings.
CONDITION:
Exceptional vintage condition.
The especially delicate applied porcelain rose finials on both the coffee pot and covered sugar bowl are fully intact, with no chips, flea bites, or repairs observed to the petals.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs observed. The hand-painted decoration remains beautifully preserved, and the gold-gilt detailing is bright with no significant visible loss or thinning.
The large scalloped tray is also remarkably clean, with no notable utensil marks observed.

This is an exceptionally delicate fine porcelain service and will be packed with great care.
Each component will be individually protected and the shipment will be double-boxed. Special attention will be given to the applied porcelain rose finials so that no packing pressure is placed directly against the delicate petals.
