This is an exquisite antique Austrian porcelain egg figurine, unsigned and unmarked, but attributed to P.H. Leonard. It features beautifully hand-painted purple violets and delicate greenery against a crisp white porcelain ground. The egg is supported by three ornate, gold-gilded "frog" feet, a signature detail of high-end Leonard imports. Designed with a charming "cracked" scalloped rim and a soft lavender-glazed interior, this piece is a pristine example of turn-of-the-century European floral porcelain.
