This is a delightful pair of limited edition House of Hatten resin figurines from 1996, designed by artist D. Calla. The set includes "Melons," featuring a girl bunny in a white striped dress and strawberry apron riding a bunny scooter through a watermelon field (10.5" H x 8.25" W, numbered 104/1250), and "Puddles," featuring a boy bunny in a yellow raincoat pulling a toy boat through a puddle (9" H x 8" W, numbered 197/1250). Both pieces are rich in detail, featuring whimsical birds, fences, and hidden accents like a tiny ladybugcapturing the classic "clean and modern Grannycore" aesthetic, capturing a whimsical and nostalgic aesthetic that fits perfectly into a cozy, cottagecore home.
Condition Description: Excellent vintage condition with original House of Hatten paper stickers and 1996 embossed marks on both bases. "Puddles" is hand-signed by D. Calla in black; it also shows a faint, faded secondary red signature/numbering (208/1250) that appears to have been adjusted during production. No chips or cracks were noted on either piece.
