This is a vintage pair of UCTCI Japan ceramic cat figurines with speckled, textured bodies, colorful glazed clothing, and expressive faces. The girl cat holds flowers in front, while the boy has a flower holder behind his back, as though hiding a bouquet for her. The wire-and-paper flowers shown are included but are not original to the pair. Small fresh flower stems could also be displayed; the holders have not been tested for water retention. Sold together as a pair.
Approx. Size: 3.5" H each.
CONDITION: Very good vintage preowned condition with no damage reported. Both original gold UCTCI Japan labels remain attached. The rough, speckled texture is part of the ceramic finish. Included wire-and-paper flowers are later additions, not original to the figurines. Please see photographs.
