This is a beautiful set of six vintage Wawel Rose Garden porcelain teacups with six matching saucers, made in Poland with pink roses, small blue and purple flowers, embossed scrollwork and gold trim. Wawel was a trade name used by the Krzysztof porcelain factory in Wałbrzych; this 12-piece tea service likely dates to the second half of the 20th century.
Approx. Size: Cups are 2 1/2 inches tall, 3 3/4 inches across the rim and 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle; saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter. Each cup stands approximately 3 inches high on its saucer.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition with light wear and variation to the gold trim, light surface wear and minor underside marks. No chips or cracks are apparent in the photographs. See pictures for details.
